This was my first time here the food was amazing. When I always go fashion islands food court I always go to either panda express or chick fil a but this Time I decided to try new restaurant. The line wasn't too bad so I thought the food is not good but everything was great and they also bake the bread which is good and fresh.

Okay not going to lie - my first impressions weren't that great. As im in line, trying to figure out what i want (first timer here) a lady comes up and tells them that she found hair in her pasta salad.
*You know - most people would probably walk away after that but I was committed ya'll. Ive been wanting to try Stone Oven for so long - I saw them switch out the pasta salad so I took my chances. Ive been to Asia and I didn't die so yolo.
I ended up ordering the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich w/a side of the basil pasta salad. It honestly took forever and a year for me to get my food and there were only 2 other people in front of me. The service here could heavily use some work. All 3 girls weren't that friendly and it just brings the mood down.
It kind of weirded me out that all the meats were inside foils and they just reheated it on the stove and it doesn't look clean back there at all - but i mean, my food was good. aside from almost choking on the onion strings, everything was really good. I love the bread - definitely want to try the salads -- but ill go to a location closer to me. -

Pretty good considering the options in Fashion Island.
I recommend the BBQ chicken sandwich. It had tons of flavor with BBQ shredded chicken, melted cheddar, onion strings (a little tough) and bacon (should be broken up, not whole strips). Also good with tomato. A little messy.
The sandwich is a little messy but had lots of flavor. The potato salad was made fresh there (I could tell because some potatoes were enormous), and came with a very generous portion.
Overall considering the options in the area, this was very tasty and I'd come back. -

Located in the food court at Fashion Island, Stone Oven offers some healthier options than some of the other restaurants. I had the Asian Chicken Salad which was just the type of thing I was looking for. One extra star for the fresh pita bread hot out of the oven.

This place is soooooo good! I got the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of the basil pasta. It was delicious and I highly recommend it! It's a shame that it's so far from me otherwise I'd definitely be a regular.
